Here’s a little back ground history …

1985 The Kitchen Club began as ‘underground' word-of-mouth salon in the E.Village with a prix fixe menu on my then new answering machine.

In 1990 it moved ‘above ground’ to the corner of Prince/Mott street and there became a legendary eatery.

The Kitchen Club & Chibis Bar attracted a local and international clientele serving European cuisine with a Japanese twist and on Sunday nite live music performances in Chibis Bar .

Our menu also included a wide variety of savory or delicious desert dumplings, when they became a big hit the restaurant began offering afternoon classes : Dumplings as Story telling.

After its 20th anniversary celebration in 2010, our Dumpling Diva opened her golden cage and flew out singing, in pursuit of new adventures …
